After graduating from Vanderbilt in 2002, Trevor Landry began his career in the hospitality industry by learning from his biological father’s extensive experience spanning the past 45 years at the extraordinarily successful Let’s Make a Daiquiri in Miami.  Landry was groomed for high volume bartending and bar management.  Prior to becoming the Beverage Director for all of NL Group’s projects, Landry was the General Manager of LIFT Lounge and the Bar Manager and cocktail menu creator for DISH restaurant, two of Tim McEneny’s concepts.

He greatly expanded his cocktail knowledge by completing the National BarSmarts certification in 2012.  During this time, he earned many accolades for his mixology work, including Consumers Choice Award in the Partida Texas Spirit Bird Challenge, 2nd Place in the Cointreau Margarita Contest judged by Dale Degroff, Regional Finalist in the Cointreau Ambassador of Libations Competition, and Semifinalist in the Star of the Bar contest held at the National Restaurant Association Expo in Chicago.  In addition, he expanded his resume by creating cocktail menus for the Front Room at the Lumen Hotel, and Dakota’s Steakhouse, a classic Dallas landmark.

Capitalizing on his skills for mixology and management, Landry worked as a consultant with Tim McEneny, improving operations at the Owner’s Box Sports Bar at the Omni Hotel in Dallas Texas. His professional and reliable work ethic has led to mentions in D Magazine, the Dallas Morning News, FD Deluxe, and the CW33.

As the Beverage Director for NL Group, Landry is currently responsible for all bar operations and is developing and implementing all cocktail menus. In early 2015, he helped build, design, and launch the bar and beverage program at Dish Preston Hollow, which earned the praise of several writers, bloggers, and press entities soon after opening. He also oversaw the launch of the bar at One Dallas Center in downtown Dallas, a luxurious bar specifically for the residents of the high rise building. In late 2015, Landry became certified as BAR Ready by passing the prestigious 5-DAY BAR Program held annually in New York City. Landry remains excited about new NL Group projects on the horizon.
